The CAD LAB web site including this blog is something I have been thinking about for a long time. A place to go beyond the classroom, and connect with the global design community. A place where concepts can be explored and questions can be answered.
"Knowledge is gained by asking questions. Skills are built by putting the knowledge to work."
This is what the Ask the CAD LAB page is all about. A place where you can ask your questions as they come to you. Many times the questions of one are the questions of many, meaning that most people at the same skill level are looking for the same answers. For this reason your questions, and there answers will be posted here for the benefit of all. Applied learning is all about your resources, Right? So make sure and spend some time on the resources page. Here you will find a collection of information ranging form where to find design software, to what are the best instructional books, as well as information about the computers that we use.
At the heart of the site you will find the handouts that support my classroom instruction, and video tutorials on subjects ranging from AutoCAD fundamentals, to AutoCAD MEP lessons.
Just as the world of computer aided design is an ever changing place so to will be this web site with new content being posted to all areas, so make sure to check in often to see what’s new in the CAD LAB.
All Things CAD is my blog dedicated to exploring the Computer Aided Design industry. Sing up for the news letter, and receive insights into the ever changing world. We’ll see you in The CAD LAB.
